Indiana Student Funding Alliance

In Indiana, charter schools are considered public schools, but receive significantly less funding, so we worked to support a legislative effort to secure more funding for charter schools. With legislative session starting in a month and nothing but funding and a mission, we built the alliance from scratch, developed a successful campaign to influence legislators Our effort resulted in lawmakers delivering more funding, and according, to Chalkbeat.org, "charter schools scored one of their biggest wins since they started in Indiana over 20 years ago."
